Dr. Andreas Renken

Dr. Andreas Renken earned a degree in chemical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and completed his Ph.D. at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland. He worked for 10 years as a senior R&D; engineer on polymers at DuPont, followed by 10 years in application development and marketing of DuPont’s tire reinforcement segment.
In his last role at DuPont, Dr. Renken led the global tire segment technical team as a global segment technology leader, managing the segment’s technology and innovation project portfolio. During that period, Dr. Renken was also a member and co-chair of the Centre for Tire Research (CenTire), a US-based open innovation consortium between the University of Akron, Virginia Institute of Technology, and Tire Manufacturers and industry members. In 2019, Dr. Renken joined Eastman as manager application development – EMEA for tire and rubber additives.
In January 2022, Dr. Renken was appointed Head of Innovation of Bekaert’s Rubber Reinforcement Division and is leading Bekaert’s tire innovation efforts and the team globally.

Dr. Susanna Lieber

Dr. Susanna Lieber studied chemistry at the University of Konstanz and the University of Sussex. After finishing her Ph.D. thesis on metallocene polymerization of polypropylene she started to work for Dow Chemical in the polyolefin business in Schkopau, Tarragona, and Horgen. Before joining ARLANXEO in 2011 as a technical marketing manager she worked in a medium-sized compounding company in Germany. Within ARLANXEO she worked closely with many key accounts and led projects for new products and business development in the field of HNBR. Today she is responsible for the global TSAD team of ARLANXEO while still working closely with polymer and compound development.
